Taste of cherry is a movie written and directed by Abbas Kiarostami Taste with Homayoun Ershadi, Abdolhoessein Bagheri , Ali Moradi and Ahmed Ansari.

STORY BRIEF

It is a story about a man named Mr Badii who is depressed in his life and wants to commit sucide The story revolves around Tehran where Mr Badii searches for an assistant who can help him dug him in the pit he has made after he dies. He offers large sum of money to the person who will help in burying him.

PERSONAL VIEWS 

 I personally liked the film alot cause of it's conversatory scenes and cinematography. The way film potrays the lonely, empty feeling of a person using extreme long shots as a metaphor is very impressive. Being a photographer I feel one must be able to a tell a story not only through owrds but through visuals and Abbas Kiarostami movies does so. His movie connects photography and videography. 

I really liked the conversation which occur throughout the movie which tells us how daily life things , conversationa and feeling can be conveyed through cinema. The character of Mr Bagheri tells us that how small events and things can make a big difference in life. His character tries to convey the thought, we should embrace small moments in life and one must learn to live it's life to the fullest. The interesting part about the whole film is that we don't know what actually happens to Mr Badii, cause the fims ends with a shot of the film shooting with Abbas Kiarstomi leaving the viewers think deep about the ending.
