THAT EVENING

 THAT  EVENING 

Character 01 - Raghu Singh 

Character 02 - Vikram Singh 

SHOT 01 - 5:00 pm it is, summer evening, the sunlight's reflection on 

         the sea looks like a gold foil, camera is set across the sea.

A blur distant figure is sitting. He throws a pebble in water,the water is in focus as soon as the pebble hits water, the focus shifts to the boy.

SHOT 02 - Raghu sitting across the river, wearing a cheked shirt, with            black trousers, hawai chappal, hair all grown up, small light mustache, warm wind across his oily face.

SHOT 03 - Voice from behind,"Hey bro, today you came way too early,              usually we meet at 6:00 after the cricket match". Vikram, tall, dark man coming towards Raghu. Clean shave, short hair, trousers are dirty & sweat all over t-shirt. Camera follows Vikram and Cut 

SHOT 04 - Vikram sits beside Raghu tapping his back asking "Why didn't            you come to the match?".....Raghu replying "Just didn't felt like." [Slow sounds of women taking water in pots, returning home, soft giggles and laughs.] 

SHOT 05 - Raghu looking at Vikram says "Tommorow, I am leaving." The              smile from Vikram's face slightly goes down. [Closeup shot of Vikram, with wattery eyes, voice craking ] I am afraid Vikram.

SHOT 06 - Raghu hugs Vikram and started caressing his back...Telling            Vikram that it is a part of life.

SHOT 07 - Raghu looking at the mango tree across the river says               "Remember the time...masterji made us hen for not doing homework?", soft smile with tears rolling down Raghu's cheecks.

SHOT 08 - Mid shot of both from center. Both remembering their                  childhood, playfullness, running across fields, playing cricket, doing mischieves [ All these scenes are shown in slow motion, with their voice of giggling, smiling].

SHOT 09 - Vikram stands up, gives his hand towards Raghu. He holds              his hand and gets up. "This is a the start of a new one, lets start it the way we started our previous chapter."

SHOT 10 - They both hug each other, both removing their shoes &                shirts, running towards the river to take the jump. [The camera follows them, they are running in slow motion, soft music in background and they jump in the river].

SHOT 11 - As they jump, [ water splashing sound, the camera shifts from river to 2 birds flying and going to different directions while in background sound Raghu and Vikram are playing in water. As soon as the birds depart to different directions, the screen fades.
